Well, we're still here folks - Rita's not gone to Hollywood and ended up on the producers casting couch, we've just been away from Internet access for the last few days - so where were we.....

Hello there
Well, very rainly w/e here in blightey, sun today. Autumn def on the march.
The departure of Fat is no more .. they have changed their minds so the girls really are going to have to work at living together. Should be fun.
I have a shard of glass (tiny but painful and annoying) in the sole of my foot so will have to dig out today. Yuk.
Work on house progressing ... well, Sam has insulated the 'extension' .. it now looks a little like a log cabin! but will paint next spring. Main thing is it will insulate.
What else .. ???
Just talking to Alice on messenger .. did you know they have a dog? Called Charlie. Arrived last week.. from Al's description is a mongrel.
Also chatting with LM - seems in good form .. sent me some pics (which I opened with some trepidation) of Echo.
Phew - really was a horse.
Had an interveiw last week for Dir of BCS IT Professional Prog. Don't know if will progress but felt it went well. Will keep you informed. Am expecting it to be better salary, but more importantly better package all round, to include pension and medical. Oh, yes, and it's in Swindon!
Sam still waiting to hear anything at all about March onwards .. will have something, but may not be what he wants. Watch this spot.
Hope the RV is up to the standard of home! Did you post your route to the blog???
